One Step Closer!

One Step Closer!

Today, I had the pleasure of meeting up with artist, Johan Casadiego and Tammy Heon, manager of Florida’s Adventure Coast Visitors Bureau to pick up Grace, our Breast Cancer Mermaid Statue.  It was amazing to see the room full of clay mermaids waiting to come to life as part of the Historic Mermaid Tail Trail of Hernando County.

Grace is the first of her kind. Her statue will inspire and empower women and men diagnosed with breast cancer as well as their loved ones.

Grace is making history! She is the first Breast Cancer Mermaid ever to be painted. Grace will reside in Linda Pedersen National Park in Hernando County, Florida.

Grace will debut along with her mersisters on November 23. We'll have more information about the unveiling in the weeks to come.

We are still seeking donations to help cover the cost for Grace. Please use the link below to make your donation and help us bring this Historical Mermaid to life.
