Breast Cancer Mermaid™ Art Project & Exhibition

JOIN US SATURDAY, MAY 4th in HERNANDO PARK, 205 E FORT DADE AVE, BROOKSVILLE FLORIDAfor the unveiling of our spectacular Breast Cancer Mermaid™ Art Submissions Part of our Cinco de Mayo Weekend Health Expo

Mermaids are seen as the sirens of the sea. Their allure, warmth, sensuality, and sense of safety is legendary. When a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer and undergoes surgery, she feels she’s lost those qualities. She has not!
The Breast Cancer Mermaid™ Art Project & Exhibition empowers women and how they see themselves during this challenging journey. Through this project, we open the door to education, prevention, and empowerment.
Share your vision of what a mermaid with breast cancer looks like. Would she have one seashell on her chest and a mastectomy scar in place of the other? Would she still have her lustrous hair? Would her tail be a little shabby? Is she working out or eating healthy? Use your imagination. Be playful or serious. A Merman is welcomed too. And yes, it’s possible that Mermaids can get breast cancer if we keep polluting our water ways.
Below are just a few of our early entries. We will post ALL entries accepted for this exhibition after May 4 for those that didn't get a chance to join us LIVE at Hernando Park in Brooksville Florida on Saturday, May 4th.
