Did you know that sometimes your insurance company will DENY your medicine because it is in “capsule” form but they would agree to pay for the same medicine IF it was in “tablet” form instead.

Yet, it’s true. It’s one more little quirk in this Road thru Insanity we call cancer. Therefore, always ensure to check with your insurance company directly when a medicine is denied. Ask your insurance manager (the insurance company typically assigns one to chronic cases–that’s cancer). She/he should be able to help you with these hiccups in getting your meds approved.
