We’re getting closer and closer to the world premiere of Breast Cancer Diaries — The Play which debuts October 5, 2019 in Staten Island.
If you are interested in becoming one of the actors of the play, check out the information below and join us for the casting call. We seek five women and two men for the performance. Join us and make history as you share in this amazing dramedy which contains a little bit of drama and a whole lot of comedy and inspiration. Written by Dr. Charley Ferrer with contributions from Debra Santulli-Barone and Helene Montagna.
WHAT: Seeking: 5 women, 2 men. All ages, types, and ethnicities are welcome to audition. Women and men diagnosed with breast cancer are strongly encouraged to audition. No previous acting experience necessary. Auditions will consist of reading sides from the script, however you are welcome to prepare a one minute monologue that is personal to you.
WHERE: Snug Harbor 1000 Richmond Terrace, SI, NY BUILDING G, 1st floor, Learning center room.
WHEN: June 25 and 26 from 6 – 8 pm
A few specifics:
* Rehearsals will be weekday evenings on Staten Island beginning late July.
* Two performances: October 5, 2019 in Staten Island and October 22, 2019 in Manhattan.
* Small stipend provided
