Meet our Comedians:
Larry Beyah, Our MC for the night. “Life is better when you laugh!” That is just what Larry Beyah does for you. With his contagious humor, his high energy, and his quick wit, he leaves audiences rolling in the aisles. Larry is a highly sought after comedian who regularly performs in NYC, Los Angeles & Chicago comedy clubs, such as Gotham Levity, Live Carolines, The Stand NYC, New York Comedy Club, Greenwich Village Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club and more. He has been featured at The Laugh Factory, The Improv, and The Comedy Store on the west coast. Besides Larry’s amazing ability to make you laugh, he is also a very talented actor. Larry’s acting talents can be seen in the film Killer Instinct and Southern Cross. But his talents don’t end there, he’s also appeared on a variety of TV ads, documentaries (GUN FIGHT on HBO) & radio programs. His acting skills have graced the theater in dozens of Shakespeare productions, as well as The Old Settler, Bedlam Moon,The Pool Poom & numerous productions of Joe Turner’s Come & Gone. John Fugelsang hosts ‘Tell Me Everything” weekdays on SiriusXM Insight #121 and PAGE SIX TV for the FOX network,premiering in 2017. He once got George Harrison to give his last live performance on VH1 and once got Mitt Romney’s advisor to call Mitt an ‘etch a sketch’ on CNN. John’s been murdered on CSI, nominated for a Drama League award for his off-Broadway solo show, hosted America’s Funniest Home Videos and Bill Maher called him ‘one of my favorite comedians’. He’s sold out theaters across the country with Stephanie Miller, Hal Sparks and Aisha Tyler on The Sexy Liberal Comedy Tour; their album “Volume 1” became the 1st political album to ever hit #1 on the Amazon, iTunes & Billboard Comedy Charts. He’s performed for American troops, including the humanitarian mission in Haiti. Acting credits include “CSI,” “Coyote Ugly,” “Becker,” “Providence” and “The Girl on the Train.” His new film, “Dream On,” a road trip in search of the American Dream, just premiered on PBS.
Dr. Charley Ferrer
is the founder of Cancer Tamer and a co-producer of Road Thru Insanity. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, and frustrated with the lack of treatment options and information provided to cancer patients, she established Cancer Tamer and began producing a local television show specifically geared toward providing education and inspirations to women and men diagnosed with cancer. Her show, Cancer Tamer is view by over 103,000 viewers in Staten Island and twice that in New York City, plus it can be seen here on our website.
An award winning writer, Dr. Charley is completing her latest book, Cancer Tamer Journey: From Diagnosis to Surgery (A guide for women–and men–diagnosed with cancers.) This is the first in a three part series due out January/February 2017. Plus, she’s working on a book for anyone who has to sit in a doctor’s office called: Naughty Games & Activities. Due out January/February 2017.
