White Water Rafting
Join us for a day of Adventure as we take on a Class 1 & Mild Class 2 rapids on the Lehigh River in Pennsylvania. Your admission ticket includes: White Water Rafting Adventure, lunch, and transportation from Staten Island to/from event. There’s also a BBQ at the end of the trip.

(Leaving Staten Island approximately 7:30 a.m./return 7:00 p.m.)

Cost: $97 (per person)

Come alone or with a friend or loved one and take a fabulous break from your daily responsibilities. Adults only–18 & up. Tickets can be picked-up during check-in on day of departure. Bring your id. We are working with White Water Rafting Adventures renowned for their expertise on the river. You must purchase tickets through us to receive all our benefits. Some logistics you should know:

* We are partnering with White Water Rafting Adventures for this event. Use the link below to get an idea of some of the options available and rafting on the river.

* Transportation: Our group will depart from Clove Lake Park, Staten Island, NY on a bus at 7:30 a.m. and return by 7:00 p.m. Other locations may be added depending on attendance. Exact location(s) and times will be announced as we get closer to our Adventure Day. Plan for a full day of fun in the sun. You are welcome to provided your own transportation to our event or caravan with us. If you are driving there, you must arrive at our Adventures White Water Rafting no later than 10:30 a.m. to join us for the trip up the river and our Adventure. The address is: Whitewater Rafting Adventures, 101 W. Adventure Trail Road, Nesquehoning, Pa 18240. Use Google Maps directions as Mapquest will get you lost.

*Actual time on the Lehigh River is approximately 3-4 hours.

*Meals: We will break for lunch mid-way down the river. You’ll be able to swim and have fun before we go back into the rafts and finish our Rafting Adventure down the Lehigh River. (A menu will be provided to choose your lunch as we get closure to departure. We recommend bringing additional snacks and water. If you have special dietary needs, please bring your own lunch as the menu is limited. Salads will be available.) As a BONUS to end our day, we’ll also enjoy a BBQ at the end of the trip hosted by White Water Rafting Adventures.

*Dress for swimming and sunshine: This means bring your sunblock and hat. No flip flop shoes. Bring a towel.

*You will receive an Adult Life Jacket that accommodate individuals who weigh more than 90 lbs and have a 30-52 inch chest. If you cannot fit into these requirements, you will need to provide your own life jacket.

*Our Adventure will be held rain or shine.

*No recreational drugs or alcohol permitted.

*Note: cancer patients:
One complimentary FREE admission will be provided to women (and men) with cancer while supplies last. Sign-up immediately! Only one complimentary ticket per person. Cancer patients applying for a complimentary admission will need to provide a letter from their oncologist or hospital social worker stating their cancer diagnosis. This will allow us to verify all Free tickets are provided only to cancer patients. Thank you for your understanding of this requirement. All information is kept in the strictest of confidence! No personal information for ANY attendee will ever be shared with a third party. If you are part of a cancer support group, have them call us for verification.

As always, everyone is responsible for their own personal health. Cancer patients must ensure to bring any medication or sunblock protection they need. There will be a bit of paddling required to get your raft down the river, therefore, consult your physician about physical limitations. We cannot accommodate wheel chairs or moderate/extensive physical limitations. By attending you verify that you can perform a bit of paddling and sit upright in the rafts. Though we are staying on the soft side of the rapids, there will be some bumps and jostling to make you shout and smile.

Refund policy:
We understand life changes and events may crop up that prevent you from attending. You will receive 50% refund up to 31-days prior to our Adventure. No refunds 30-days or less prior to Adventure. If you need to cancel, consider donating your ticket(s) to a cancer patient(s). Adults only. 18 & up. Free tickets cannot be canceled for a cash refund.
