Here is a little information about Breast Cancer Support Groups on Staten Island sponsored by Staten Island University Hospital (SIUH). Groups are free and open to women of all ages. These are just a few we’ve been advised of. If you host a support group for women with cancer, please let us know.

Breast Cancer Group for all ages: SIUH 242 Mason AVe, The Great Room 2nd floor  12:00 -130 pm. Upcoming dates are: 2/23, 3/30, 4/27, 5/18, 6/29 (party time–off for the summer), 9/28, 10/26, 11/23 and 12/14 year end party.

Caregiver Support Groups
One Monday a month  12-1pm at Naulitt Cancer Ctr, library conference room 2nd fl at 256C Mason Ave. Moderator is Ann Marie Quinn, LCSWE  718 226-6465

Young Adult Breast Cancer support group (18-40 yrs old). SIUH Cancer Svcs 256 C Mason Ave, the great room 2nd fl.  2-3

Ovarian & Gyno cancer group at SIUH Cancer svc 256C Mason Ave, Conference Room is 6:30 – 8:30pm  meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month call SHARE 866-537-4273 for more info.

Oral, head, neck cancer support group: SIUH 256 C Mason Ave, 2nd fl conference room 5-6:30pm  meets the last Tuesday of month, call Marie Anderson, MS at 718-226-6521

Debra Santulli-Barone as Segment Producer on Cancer Tamer Talk Show, “Did you know…,” Debra enjoys researching information and sharing her discoveries and insights by educating the community. Since being diagnosed with breast cancer, Debra is dedicated in helping empower women to overcome the challenges they face with breast cancer and other forms of cancer. She is a dynamic lady who helps with her son’s anti-bullying group, Play it Forward NY. She has a Bachelor Degree in Corporate Communications, minors in Journalism and Business. Her former job was Executive Director of the non-profit, Myasthenia Gravis Alliance in New York City. An avid music lover and dancer, what keeps her young is enjoying the original music her sons compose for their label Red Planet Records LLC. She is grateful for her loving family, friends, Cancer Tamer, and the Rossville A.M.E. Zion Church.
