Breast Cancer Diaries Premiere Wrap-up
Hi everyone,
What an amazing weekend this was; one of the best in my life to-date. As you know, on October 5, 2019, we held the premiere of Breast Cancer Diaries – The Play which included our two mini-films: Faces of Breast Cancer and Messages of Hope created specifically for the play. According to the over 150 individuals who attended, the play was a MEGA HIT and our casts’ performance was worthy of Broadway. Thank you to all who shared their thoughts with us in the Guest Book, who left messages on our phone’s voice mail, and who emailed us afterward to share their thoughts. I want to thank you all for making our premiere a night to remember.
Below is a link to our film, Messages of Hope for you to share with family and friends. Please help us spread the word of this poignant and valuable message. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sg7JgMWrlnE&t=21s
For those who would like to join us for our encore performance in Manhattan on October 22 at TADA! Theater, 15 West 26 Street, you can purchase your tickets using the link below. Note: Manhattan will not have the big VIP party; however, we will have a little wine and cheese available for those that come early. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. http://cancertamer.org/play
I want to take a moment to once again thank all our sponsors for making Breast Cancer Diaries—The Play possible. I also want to give a special shout out to Gina Marie & Company for their beautiful and scrumptiously delicious cake creation. I was so beautiful I didn’t want to cut into it.
On a side note: all the Raffle Tickets were won and claimed. The only prize remaining to be claimed is #314221 for the wonderful knitted basket by Camille Feaser. To claim your prize, please send me a copy of your ticket. We’ll arrange a time/place for you to pick it up. For those curious about the 50/50 Raffle, it was won by Salomon. We’ll hold onto it until October 22. If not claimed, we will donate it at a breast cancer support group meeting.
Those interested in purchasing one of our T-shirts, Stupid $#!+ People Say… (when you tell them you have breast cancer), please visit our website http://cancertamer.org/t-shirts. This would be a great t-shirt to wear during the breast cancer walk.
Once again, thank you for sharing this special night with us. I look forward to having you join us next year for our Special Event. More on that in November. Be sure to sign-up for our Newsletter if you aren’t already on our list. It’s simple, go to our website and sign-up or just tell me and we’ll add you to it if you’re not already there.
