Assistance for Women with Breast Cancer
Hi everyone,
First, let me state that I hope you and your family are doing well and are staying healthy. As for me, I’m in good health thank God and taking precautions when I go out.
I wanted to take a moment to share with you the three projects the Cancer Tamer Foundation is conducting to help women with breast cancer during the CoVid-19 crisis.
Online Social Gatherings & Connections
We are hosting online Social Gatherings to help women stay connected. Join us Mondays for our Empowerment Series; Wednesdays for our Support Group, and Thursdays for a Lunch Time Chat. Use the link below for full details on how to sign-up. We’ll be using a secured Zoom Meeting Rooms.. http://cancertamer.org/zoom-meetings
Food & Medication Runs
We have a small handful of volunteers who are helping with grocery and medication pick-up runs for those women that can’t get out and have no other support. As you may realize, women with breast cancer, especially those undergoing active chemo and radiation treatments, are at a higher risk of contracting the corona virus. If you know any women (or men) in your area who could use assistance, please offer to help. Email or call us directly if you are on Staten Island and need this assistance.
Financial Assistance
We have had many requests from women with breast cancer for assistance in paying for their lifesaving medication and help with purchasing essentials. We’ve been able to help a few women thus far; however, we need your help to help others. Please consider donating $5, $10, $20 or more. Your tax-deductible donation can literally help save a life! Please also share our link below and our need with family and friends or host a fundraiser for us. And if you are a woman with breast cancer in need of assistance, please email us to be placed on our contributions list. To make a donation online use this link; you do not need to have a PayPal account and we will never see your credit card information: PayPal.me/CancerTamer
Thank you in advance and big hugs for your generosity!
As we all go through these challenging times, it’s important to remember that we’re stronger together. Share a bit of kindness each day with someone else and watch the world around you brighten.
Live with ROARING passion,
Dr. Charley Ferrer
