Meet the Cast — Laurel Fulcher

A Personal Invitation from Laurel Fulcher, Voice #3 in Breast Cancer Diaries
A little about Laurel:
Laurel is a Direct Support Professional & substitute teacher. She is a member of SAG/AFTRA and co-creator of Friction Productions. Her greatest pleasure and triumph is being the executive director for the HRTG/ Behind the Stage Door Productions in Staten Island.
This marks Laurel’s sixth year since her cancer diagnosis in January 2013. “I’m grateful to be in my 5th year of being cancer free! I can’t think of a better way to celebrate this milestone than with this testimony of the life of a breast cancer patient, in many different forms. Many thanks to Dr Charley Ferrer for creating this piece for us to share with everyone, to Debra, and to Helene for directing. And to the cast, “You can reinvent yourself, create a new you!” as I stated in the show. It’s been a pleasure!
I dedicate my performance to my family: my dad for truly being the strongest man I know, I’m grateful for you every day! May all the positive we have been given, make us stronger through the tough times. I love you all! And mom, the reason we all are so close to this disease and have been on this journey our whole lives. You will forever be with us.
