A little about Jennine:
I am the person I am today because of all my life experiences at the young age of 41. Growing up as one of the eldest of 8 children, I was destined to become a teacher. I have been teaching for 18 years; 15 of which has been at IS61 on Staten Island. On September 12, 2016, I discovered a lump in my left breast and a short 2 weeks later I was diagnosed with Stage 2B HER2+ breast cancer. I finished treatment January 18, 2018 and have been NED for just over two years. I love traveling, but there is nothing more fulfilling than sitting around the kitchen table with those you love. I would not be where I am today without the support and unconditional love of my family and friends. There’s so much more to my story, but I am forever grateful that my angel from above made sure I was able to start the second part to my story – a part that is filled with love and unlimited possibilities.
